Mom

Today my beautiful Mother would have been 81! Zita Wanda (Crow) Wright was born on November 19th 1932 in Milford, TX to Margaret Ethel (Greenwell) Crow and Lee Roy Crow. She was the 7th of eight children and the special something in my life. She taught me to be a passionate, hard headed female (which is not that hard to find in Texas). She would light up a room even before she entered and always made whoever she met feel special. She could hold you accountable like no one else and love you like no one else. She loved big glasses, scarves, pizza, bird watching, her brownies, being around people and wore flowers in her hair. Her children (and that includes the furry kind), grandchildren (and that also, includes the furry kind) along with her husband were her main passion. She loved politics and would fight for a good Democrat till the end. She always wanted Italian Cream Cake (Texas French Bread’s was her favorite) on her birthday and a crude birthday card. She always told amazing stories of growing up with 4 brothers and 3 sisters and would get a tear in her eye every time she spoke of her Mother (Dude) whom she loved dearly and passed away too early. I was extremely lucky to have been her daughter and I miss her~ I love you Momma
